Yes. Connect to Exchange (Outlook or OWA), SQL, File Shares etc.

I cant see why they cant access the server through the external NIC and
control the level of access with ISA? I would like to know why we cant do
this for my own peace of mind from a technical point of view really.
Everything seems set fine in ISA but for some reason I think the firewall
service seems to be blocking the requests.

I will look into this option. Before we migrated from SBS2000 to SBS2003 we
used to create a second VPN tunnel to the server within the VPN tunnel to
the router. But now even after creating this second tunnel we are still
having trouble accessing any of the sbs server resources.
