This is the same problem we had......
Check with your ISP and make sure it's ok to relay your SMTP outgoing
through their server and then set your exchange server to do so.
AOL, RR, Cox, and several others will not allow IP addresses assigned to
ISP's to send mail directly to them.
I'm useing alltel and they are fine with the relay. Other ISP's may not
allow it, in which case a smarthost could help.
