You can select "mail" instead of "www" but to a machine it
doesn't make a difference... Only human beings care, and
if only one record is created, I selected "www" because
human beings might use it to access a website.
Yes, you can also create two records, a "www" and
a "mail" for the same IP address (generally preferable to
ccreating a CNAME/Alias to eliminate a roundtrip lookup)
aand point your MX record at one of them (in that case, I
would point to "mail")
