Error I receive is 'Request Timed Out'
The network cables I have tested using a laptop and they
work aok.
Swapped over to a hub and plugged in 1x laptop and 1xPC
with IP's set to 10.x along with the server - could ping
both PC's but not the server and the server couldn't ping
them. Swapped back over to 192.x NIC and reconfigured PC
and laptop to 192.x - could ping everywhere fine.
Swapped 10.x NIC to 192.x and plugged into hub after
disabling original 192.x NIC - could ping laptop and PC
but not server. Appears to be NIC has gone faulty.
Relaced NIC and retested - WORKS PERFECTLY!!! Thank you
for your help!!! :)
Would this also explain why Sharepoint Services did not
install during Installation?
