The first step would be to make sure your Time/Date settings are correct.
Make sure you have the correct Time Zone as well. Having an incorrect
Date/Time could be preventing your use of Windows Update.
You might also configure the server with mulitple Stratum 1 NTP Servers to
ensure reliable Time synchronisations. When you run the CEICW (Internet
Connection Wizard) and select a full time broadband connection, it should
automatically find and set a Time Sync Server. To manually synchronize an
internal time server perform the following steps:
1. Open a command prompt. Start, Run, cmd.exe
2. Type the following, where PeerList is a comma-separated list of
Domain Name System (DNS) names or Internet protocol (IP) addresses of
the desired time sources: w32tm /config /syncfromflags:manual
/manualpeerlist:PeerList
3. Type: w32tm /config /update
You should be able to run a google search to obtain a list of public NTP
servers. I hope this information helps.
