Hi!

Here is the story.

Installed a fresh Win 2003 SBS. It finds my D-Link router
and wants to take over DHCP, I deny and it gets ip
192.168.0.100 and ask me to exclude it from the DHCP.

I don't want to exclude it so I give the server IP
192.168.0.203 which is outside the DHCP range for the D-
Link.

Then I follow the Todo list. "Add Users and Computers", I
give the client computer the name for my laptop, who I
want as a client. Wizard tells me to finish and start
laptop and enter http://[server]/connectcomputer. So ...

Network Config appears on laptop but here the problems
starts. It wants username and password, so i enter it.
Now the server wants to do two things: 1. "Finding small
business users" and "Finding small business server client
computers". It stops on the first one with the error
message "The list of users and computers could not be
found on the server. Make sure that the small business
server network adapters are configured correctly".

More info:
1. I can surf internet from the server.
2. I can connect to it with remote desktop.
3. I can connect to it via laptops Explorer -> Network
neighborhood -> with the username and password that I
entered when I followed the Todo list!

So, what is wrong with the network adapter? I have
searched internet and MS site but not found this error
message anywhere! What is wrong?

Thanks for any help and ideas!

Regards,
/Marcus
