Error 80090308: Can't Access Public Folders in Exchange System Manager

I am unable to access the public folders in the
Exchange System Manager. When I try to select them I get
the message: "The token supplied to the function is
invalid. ID no: 80090308" I have found postings on other
boards that indicated it was a problem with the SSL
settings on the Exadmin and Public virtual directories of
the Default web site. I attempted removing the required
SSL settings as indicated in the KB article
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=324345, but it didn't
work.
