scepol.log file too large

We've recently encountered an issue with our scepol.log
file being too large. Apparently this file is not
supposed to exceed 1 Meg ours however is over 125 Meg!

We have contacted MS with specific regards to technet
article 827684 and installed their hotfix however the log
file is the same size.

Any help in whether this file can be deleted or how to
resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
