Hi Kevin,
Ok, well here goes. The reason we got rid of the router was because it
was a Linksys VPN router, and with the latest firmware (which we needed for
some other applications), it would not pass VPN connections through to the
server for authentication. Even though we had BOTH VPN ports forwarded to
the server. And for some odd reason, we couldn't get the router to handle
the VPN very gracefully either. So, in the interest of simplifiying things,
we chucked the router, and went with just a dual nic setup for now. We can
revisit that later.
Now, on the other point. I went to Mail, and created a brand new profile to
just use RPC. Still no dice. Oh, I can create the profile, but when I log in
and it tries to connect to my exchange server, it asks for my password.
Over, and over and over. It will not login. Same problem I was having with
my original profile. The extremely frustrating thing is, I HAD it working
before! But then I had to recreate the user to fix an OMA problem, and now
no RPC over HTTP! What a shame!
Any other suggestions I can try? Thanks!
Chester
