I would go with the same idea here... but instead of purchasing a new domain
I would simply sign up a new account on ZoneEdit using the domain that you
are using now. Then copy all the DNS settings from your actual nameservers
(www, mail, MX and so on records). Finally, transfer the namerservers from
your actual ISP to ZoneEdit.

Alternatively, you could simply ask your current ISP to create a CNAME
record that points to a free DDNS addresss (i.e yourdomain.dyndns.org).
