It should be noted that I installed SBS 2003 on a separate partition form
SBS 2000. This allowed me to get SBS 2003 up and running and configured
while leaving my production server fully functional. I have rebooted in to
SBS 2000 on occasion and I never get POP3 errors of this kind. This leads me
to believe that I can eliminate the hardware and DSL connection as the
problem.
As I use V2i to back up my OS partitions, I'm open to trying to patch this
problem as I can restore the server configuration in about 20 minutes.
