Hello,
You can follow the steps outlined in KB 329640 How to Move Small Business
Server
2000 Company and Users Shared Folders -
<http://support.microsoft.com/?id=329640>
to move User Shared Folder.
The same idea applies to SBS 2003. Make sure the shared is shared out as
"Users"
(this is the original share name).
In addition, since we enable quota management in the drive where the users
shared
folder is created during setup in SBS 2K3, if you want to use quota
management in
the new drive, you will need to manually enable quota management there and
manually
recreate the quota entries that exist in the 'old' drive where users shared
folder
resided.
The permission for the Users Shared Folder
NTFS:
Domain Admins Full Control
Domain Users Special - Allow: Traverse Folder/Execute Files, List
Folder/Read Data, Read Attributes, Read Extended Attributes, Create
Folders/Append
Data, Read Permissions
System Full Control
SBS Folder Operators Full Control
Sharing:
Domain Admins, Domain Users, SBS Folder Operators: Full Control
Individual Users Folder.
NTFS:
Domain Admin Full Control (Inherited)
System Full Control (Inherited)
SBS Folder Operators Full Control (Inherited)
Individual user Full Control (Not Inherited)
