The GP changes can take up to three workstation reboots to hit. However,
links to WU are always going to point to the Microsoft Windows Update site.
Your SUS-applied updates will happen according to the settings in your GP.
You'll be able to see the settings from the GP in Automatic Updates on the
workstations, but you won't have the option to change them even with admin
rights. And, you'll be able to verify what's going on by viewing the file
c:\windows\Windows Update.log on the workstations - you'll see that it's
looking for updates on your SUS server rather than WU.

You can run Windows Update from the workstation to make yourself comfortable
that SUS is working (although the Baseline Security Analyzer is a better way
to do this IMO), or to immediately get an urgent update or something that's
not included in SUS.
