I have an unusual problem. I have just received my new
Dell PowerEdge 700 server from Dell and it's preloaded
with SBS2003 Premium. Today, while beginning the
placement of the server, I noticed something somewhat
dumb on Dell's part. The server has a large RAID5 drive
with two seperate partitions. The C drive is 8GB and the
D drive is about 100GB. The folks at Dell loaded
EVERYTHING on the first partition, including the
ClientApps and Users folders. I know from previous
installs of SBS 4.5 and 2000, these location are asked
while going through the installation process. I would
really prefer these folders being on the larger
partition, especially the Users share because I know it
will grow substatially for my client.
Is there any way to move those folders and not screw-up
any of the built-in wizards that write to these folders
without doing a clean install?
Thanks.
