It looks like some information exists on the Apple website for configuring
your Mac:
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=30822&sessionID=anonymous|125
95823&kbhost=kbase.info.apple.com%3a80%2f
As to configuring Win98, you should only need to assign a static IP in the
same subnet as your Mac. All file sharing will likely come from the Mac
side.
Just as a friendly reminder, posting on topic for the newsgroup you are in
will insure a speedier and more accurate response. This newsgroup is
dedicated to the SBS server family and it appears your issue is with Peer
to Peer networking between a Mac and a Win 98 machine. If this is not the
case, please provide the additional details of your SBS server (version,
nic configuration, etc) and we may be able to provide more detailed
instructions. If you do have an SBS 2k3 server, all you would need to do is
install Networking Services for Macintosh and configure your Mac to login
to the domain. I hope this information helps.
