ASP errors in event log. (EventID 5)

I keep getting errors in the event log regarding Active Server Pages. Now
I've done some trauling on the net and found a couple of solutions that
involve re-assigning permissions to a bunch of folders. None of this is
resolving the problem. Has anyone else had a similiar experience. Did you
manage to fix it??
