You will get different answers on this from different people. I know
people that don't like the complexity of ISA so they prefer the RRAS basic
firewall and it works for them. Other people skip a firewall on the server
entirely and just buy a hardware firewall and some will use ISA and a
hardware firewall.
The basic firewall is not as configurable as ISA and does not have as many
features, but if all you need is a basic firewall, then it should meet your
needs.
