Hello,
What is the best way to migrate from windows 2000 server/exchange 2003
to sbs 2003/exchange2003? It said in the documentation from microsoft
that the fqdn and netbios name of the destination server must be
different from the source server. The domain name of the old server is
registered (ex. domain123.com) and will there be any problems if I
name the new server (sbs 2003) as domain.local? this is what windows
is recommending during setup.
how about for exchange, will i encounter any problems accessing the
mail server (mail.domain123.com) if the new sbs server has a domain
name of domain123.local?
separately, is there a way to migrate the data of SharePoint Team
Services to the new SBS server?
Thanks!
