It is normal to point your browser to the proxy server. All of your clients have to go out through the proxy server (ISA) for security reasons. This would limit people from just
hooking up their PC's and browsing the net without your knowledge (notice I said limit). You could also install the firewall client on all of your Microsoft OS clients if you ISA
installed as a firewall. Although it sounds as if you are using it for proxy only since you have just the one NIC. If you are using ISA as your firewall then you will have to talk
to the manufacturer of the FTGate program to determine the ports that ISA must have open. Keep in mind that you may need to port forward if the FTGate is not running on
the SBS box. You can do port forwarding using ISA via server publishing.
