owa / rww not available from inside lan

I can access OWA, OMA, RWW from the outside however from the inside
http://www.domain.com/exchange will not work. However when I use the
server's internal IP such as http://192.168.16.2/exchange I can access OWA
or RWW. I am pretty sure this is a DNS issue, but can't figure it out.
