Solved it.......somehow, the XP Pro's date was set to Feb. 25, 16054. I
corrected the date to 2004, and we're good. How the year got changed is a
mystery, but a tad irrelevant because I know how to fix the problem now.

Man, talk about a system getting ahead of itself ;)
