Another good point you make...

I tried the Sonic Wall account and got the same results
(it replied back with the Connect to... login screen with
no errors) ~ It seems I can't authenticate to something.

After the users go home for the day, I'll disconnect the
cable going from the Sonic Wall to the SBS server and
retry the test. At least I'll know who is responding to
my HTTP requests and can proceed from there.

Whatever the outcome... you folks here are great.
