Personally, I uncheck it once I've confirmed that the settings are as
required to ensure it remains locked in.
YMMV but I used to find the system changed the settings incorrectly and
so have gotten into the habit of locking them in.
You're right about making SBS Exchange Authoritative for the Local
domain only, but I was leaving checking that and other settings for
further down the track.
