Well, I kind of got all twisted up trying this - probably left out some
important step.
This machine didn't have much to recover in terms of setup, so I did the
following:
1. logged in as local administrator.
2. in mycomputer, system settings, profiles:
I deleted all the profiles except local Administrator
3. went to computer, network ID...and logged in as the computer account
user. This required authentication by the network admin, worked ok.
4. rebooted, logged in as account user
5. ran \\<servername>\mspclnt\setup from Run, which re-installs the ISA
client.
Everything is working again, until I break something else! I hate
this!@#$#@! I write software - don't know anything about configuring
networks.
Thanks again Paul. If I ever have to get this machine back on-line I'll try
your method since it preserves the settings.
