It's Valentines Day ... with hearts and kisses and love flying through the
air. Which begs to ask: how much of my job do I really love? 'Cause here I
am on Saturday patching servers!
Hopefully, for each of us, there's a part of our job that we truly get some
enjoyment and satisfaction from. Last night, for example, I had one. Many of
you know Gavin (of Canada) from these NG. Well, he had to come down to my
part of the world in Florida for an install. It was fun getting together
last night over a huge piece of steak, sweet potatoes, and a cool drink and
talking about our jobs, our families and our lives.
So, with those thoughts in mind, our song of the week is another "classic" -
so get your country two step, line dancing shoes ready:
Achy, Breaky Heart (Billy Ray Cyrus):
You can tell Bill Gates, all the things that I do hate
You can burn my tapes when I am gone
Or you can tell your friends just what a fool I've been
And laugh and joke about me on the NG phone
You can tell my arms, that loading patches ain't a charm
You can tell my feet to hit the floor
Or you can tell my lips to tell my fingertips
I won't be loading patching any more
But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
I just don't think it'd understand
And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
He might blow up and reboot once again - Ooo
You can tell Ray Fong, after I'm long gone
Or tell Sue Bradley from her soapbox view
Or tell our friend Marie, that I really had to flee
Writing answers in the NG is not a dream come true
Oh tell your Aunt Louise, tell her anything you please
But don't say that Jeff Middleton is brief and to the point
Oh you can tell my eyes, to watch out for the surprise
When Mountain Dew starts filling up the joint!
But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
I just don't think it'd understand
And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart
He might blow up and reboot once again - Ooo
