Amanda,

Is it possible that the SBS 2000 domain is a "single domain name" like
DOMAIN, and not a "Complex domain name" like domain.local?

Make sure to Install ADMT on SBS2000 and follow the same steps to move the
accounts.
Please make sure the DNS Forwarders on both SBS are pointing to each other
per the
migration paper.

However, I would like to add, that in any single domain forest,, all DCs in the single domain are recommended to be GCs, since the IM role has no work to do because there are no phantoms to enumerate in other domains in the forest. ...
