Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

those are good first steps, i have seen that in the past and think i had to uninstall and reinstall the nic to get rid of it.

I had a sever which use Windows 2003 server as an OS. I had a serious
problem on it, when i unplugged the networks cables the network icon
still giving the cables is plugged and also the teaming icon.
Also when u launch the ipconfig / all command you will get this
message:
Internal error occurs: Data not valid
Please contact Window for more information.....
Additional information: unable to get host name
And also i tried to delete the TCP/IP protocol and reinstall it still
getting the same message, also i use these 2 commands to reset the
winsocks and the TCP/IP protocol:

netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ip reset reset.log

and also still getting the same problems
So if any body can help
Thank you
