Do you have firewall in the computer block all traffic except LAN?

I bought Gene6 FTP software, installed and can connect from a workstation but not using an outside client. I'm behind a LinkSys router, used for firewall. I don't know if I have everything setup correctly. In short...
ftp://192.168.10.5/ Connects
ftp://65.25.200.154 (fake) Will not connect
1) Main server IP is: 192.168.10.5
Outside world is: 65.25.200.154
2) I have the router setup as...
Port Range Forward: FTP ... 20 to 21 ... BOTH ... 192.168.10.5
Port Range Forward: FTP ... 50000 to 50100 ... BOTH ... 192.168.10.5
3) The FTP Server...
I have a domain setup as: ABCFTP
ABCFTP is bound to 192.168.10.5 - Port 21
Passive Mode Enabled
Redirect PASV IP: 65.25.200.154
Passive Port Range: 50000 to 50100
Allow connections to port < 1024 - Disabled (made no difference either way)
Gene6 has a testing page to access FTP sites... test results...
* About to connect() to 65.25.200.154 port 21
* Trying 65.25.200.154... connected
* Connected to 65.25.200.154 (65.25.200.154) port 21
* FTP response reading failed
OK...
Did I miss something up there?
Should I be able to connect from workstation FTP Client to: ftp://65.25.200.154?
thanks
