The server has a firewall with 500 settings. I don't know where to
start. Do
you know what to change?

How are the share permissions and the NTFS permissions on the share?

I never talked about a domain. I can't map to the share at all. THey
should log on to the share only. Now they can't

question. Do you mean security for the share? Depends what the user
should be able to do in that folder. I assume they should not logon
to the server itself?

I do not have a domain server. I am trying to find out how I can
make
sure
that my server is configured as a work group server.
I am trying to connect with mappping to a UNC path.

How can I enable workgroup security for windows 2008 server?
