Hello mvdv,
Do you have enabled "Always wait for the network at computer startup and logon" under Computer configuration, administrative templates, System, Logon? Because XP is visbily up and running but network comes really late.
Best regards

Hello Meinolf,
Thx for your reply.
Every client has got the local ip adresses of 2 domain controllers.
The external ISP's DNS adresses are on the domain controllers
(forwarders).
Any other suggestions!
Best regards.

Hello mvdv,
Very often DNS is the problem, make sure to use only domain internal
DNS server ip's on the NIC, no external from your ISP's DNS.

Hello all,
The problem is that all my clients (windows xp sp3) have a slow
access when they log on to the domain controller. When they log off
and log back in then the access is fast. So only when they start
there Pc and log on for the first time access is slow.
I use a kix script for all my clients, now sometimes the kix script
doesn't
load fully.
when I log off and log on again, the problem is solved.
There are no events in my event viewer!
Any kind of information would be great.
