Hi,

In the server, run "net share" command and in one of client, run net view \\serveripaddress. Compare the results or post them here.

Hello,

I've a w2003 server with four XP clients. Independent server without Active Directory.

Yesterday a virus infected the server and I've cleaned it, Now When I try to access the server from the clients there is a message that says than \\server\folder is not accessible.contact with administrator.

The worst thing is that the server is not shown in the network neigbor. and even the server itself doesn't see himself on the network neigb.

When I type \\server in a explorer window, the shared folders are listed. But when I try to open (from the same server) the error message is shown.

From the clients, ther's no way to find the server on the network. Ping works, but navigation or searching by name doesn't work.

Wich service or something is broken for that behavior?
I've made a repair of the windows with the CD but still doesn't work.

Thanks for your help.
