1. Setup a trust between the Domains

2. Eliminate all "duplicate" accounts.

3. Grant permissions to resources directly to the Accounts/Groups you want.

Or organisation uses two domains. Though the username's and passwords
are
the
same in both domains (obviously the domain prefix canges) I have
problems
connecting to shares in a domain if I log into a machine on the other
domain.

If the share is on a domain controller there is no problem. If the
share
is
a workstation, or more importantly on a member server, then I am
prompted
to
enter a username and password. This is causing some problems.

Any idea why or how to stop it?
