Yea, I've seen these cause problems a few times and have read
"postings" on the internet of people having problems with them and
sometime it would be one of the three, maybe another the next time,
and a third the next time. I've gotten to where I just don't trust
many new "features" that get added with new SPs. I'll admit that I
can't really explain what the three of these are really supposed to
do and why I would want them,...but my life went on just fine pre-SP2
before they came alone, so I consider them "questionable" in both
"need" and in being "un-flawed", so I disable them.
So, sorry that it is kind of a blind "shot-gun" approach,...but it is
only a suggestion to do these,..I'm not demanding anyone has to
listen to me :-)

I agree. There are a few blogs out there calling the RSS a 'bug' such as Tom
Shinder's:

Whenever a new pack comes out, I hold back a bit and monitor the public
forums to see what's up before diving in. Got's to get a feel for the water
first, otherwise it may be too cold or worse...
