Hi Razor,

Have you tried 'Nbtstat -a computername'?

Hello--

This might seem like a strange post, but my predecessor did not choose logical computer names in our network, and I am trying to document which client has which computer within our network without disturbing the user.

If I know the FQDN of the workstation as well as it's IP address, etc. is there a way for me to obtain the name of the user that is currently logged onto the workstation?

We run a full Windows 2003 network and all of our workstation run W XP Pro.

Many thanks.
