Hello
Regarding the daylight savings change which is due to occur UK Sun
30th March at 1am . Currently all our servers are synchronised with
NTP using an application called Tardis. This provides time in GMT
constantly. we plan to turn Windows daylight savings off on the
servers but the desktops will have daylight savings automatically
updated via their domain controllers.
Will this on work in this configuration ?
Thanks
Backing up a bit - *why* would you use Tardis and turn off your DST
settings? What problems were you having? If you configure your servers
properly they, and your workstations, should all get the time set perfectly
& your AD won't suffer problems because of time issues.
Note for future reference that it's critical to mention your server versions
& SP levels when you post in these groups, remember....methods/answers often
vary by version.
