I am unable to get ports to forward to another computer or device on the
internal LAN. I have a straight-forward setup. WinSer2003 R2 with 2 nic,
RRAS setup to accept VPN.
In the RRAS manager, under Nat/Basic Firewall, WAN Internet Connection
Properties, Services and Ports tab I am selecting several items: 1)FTP
directed to the fixed internal IP address of a NAS, 2)Remote Connection to my
workstation IP, and 3)a custom item using port 5001 to another device on the
lan.
I cannot get to any of these devices on the network whether I choose one or
all. To make sure my connection is correct, I deselect the remote connection,
then I can connect and take control of the server remotely. But when Remote
Connection is redirected it, I am not able to connect.
