Re: nwlink printing

When you say "connect" I still don't know what you mean. Do you want to
*share* this printer on the W2k3 server? Or do you want to use the printer
while you're logged into the server? Do you have Client Services for Netware
installed? I'm presuming it still exists for W2003. If so,you ought to be
able to create a NetWare port in Windows for this.

Beyond that, I'm afraid I'm out of ideas, sorry. I haven't had to deal with
this sort of thing since I used to support NetWare (back in the 4.x days,
and even then I didn't do a lot of it) and we had a Netware print server at
the time.

I'm still secretly dying to know why you have to use (only) NWLink/IPX in
the year 2007.

Wow. I can see that you anticipate getting a lot of flak for that. :)

I need to connect it to a printer, also running nwlink, on the same
network. I cannot seem to do it.

That's a bit too vague for anyone to be able to help you, I'm
afraid. Try posting again with a lot more detail. What do you mean
by "connect it to" ? Use the network printer from the server? As a
local printer?

I haven't had to use that stuff for so long it's beyond rusty, but
perhaps you could explain exactly how you're trying to do this and
what errors you're getting.
