The symantec gateway router's ip address is 192.168.100.1.
Destination IP: (for this i have 192.168.227.0)
Netmask: the usual
Gateway: 192.168.227.6
Interface: I chose internal lan, but there is also wan1, wan2
available (internet side i guess)
Metric: 0
So this setting isnt correct?
No. It is not
Since you won't tell us what the IP#s are on the *ALL* the involved devices,
I cannot tell you the correct answer.
I have given all the ips involved, well mostly... which ones do you
feel are missing?
^here i'm puzzled as to why it would be 192.168.100.1 as this address
The symantec gateway router's ip address is 192.168.100.1 = internal LAN.
Destination IP: 192.168.227.0
Netmask: the usual
Gateway: 192.168.100.???????
is the gateway where I'm configuring the static route, hence
previously and currently i have it set to 192.168.227.6 (the RRAS
server on the virutal LAN).. the gateway on the other lan is
192.168.100.1 (the symantec router)..
Confused here, unless it really should be 192.168.100.1 (the gateway
of the device itself).
If so thats an easy fix which i can test at some point.
Interface: internal lan
Metric: <probably "1">
