To add to Bob's remarks, you can get this sort of problem even if the
machine only has one NIC. As soon as your first remote client connects, the
RRAS internal interface gets an IP an becomes active (because this is the
endpoint of the VPN link). So once more you have a multihomed server.

The way to fix it remains the same. You need to make sure that only the
"main" IP address of the server is associated with the server name.

As said in other post, it is not recommended to enable two NICs in a DC.
Otherwise, you may have connectivity issue or name resolution issue. You can
setup VPN using just one NIC and you need to do NAT or port forwarding.

After installing VPN on a MS 2003 server it discontected from the domain.
When I ask active directory to browse for the domain it finds it but when
