There are no disk quotas, the users save to a shared folder on the network
and are only trying to save that file. I was able to save the file by
copying to local drive and making the changes there and then copying back,
but not when working on network copy.

Sounds like you have disk quotas set up on the folders. Check to see if
users are storing the latest Brittney Spears videos along with office
files in their network folders, which are sucking up all the space they
were allotted. If not, maybe they really do need more space....

Hi,
Several users receive "disk is full" message when trying to save a .xls
file
to a network drive. The disk is NOT full, could someone give me an idea
as
to what this could be? Could this happen when one person is editing the
file while another person has it open as read-only?
Many Thanks
