I need to transfer a single file that is 160 Gigs internally from Win 2000
server with Raid 5 to a Win 2003 Server with raid 5.
I have connected the 2 using a crossover cable and configured the TCP/IP
setting for them to communicate. 1 Gig NIC cards.
The estimated completion time is over 12 hours without CRC.
What or how can I reduce this time?
Settings?
Utilities?
Why so slow?
If QoS is turned in the network card settings, try turning that off. Helped me
once.
