I am running a application made in fox for MSDOS in novell 3.11(DOS)
and we are instaling a Windows Server 2003 as a File server, so need
to know if theirs a way to ... without instaling a windows OS
(W95,W98, XP...) as client, we could logon WINDOWS server 2003 and
run this application. The application is very lite ( access a dbf
write, read and modifies, to a shared folder in WS2003) and its the
only thing this computer(client) does, ( we use it to control workers
time ) nobody access the computer beacause its in a case, only the
card reader is out)

The reason think, its clear ... dont need to have a big amount of
software upload, if we are only going to use the application made on
MSDOS-FOX (thats on a folder on a file server (winser2003)

What we need to know if theirs a way to logon to WinSer 2003 and run
the app without loading any windows version of OS... ( could it be
from DOS..???.)

thanks

If it's a DOS app, share the folder on the 2003 server, map a drive from the
users' workstations to the shared drive. So if you chose the letter 'X;'
for the mapped drive, then go into a command prompt, change to x: drive, and
run the executable.
