Hello Amr,
Maybe i did not understand your problem correct. Your internal server can not resolve external addresses. This can only be done by the external DNS servers. And these will froward the answers to your internal dns server which will passw the info to the clients. Mazbe give a more detailed example witha specific website, where you have problems to access.

your assumtion is right , but i have couple of external DNSs that act
the same as ISPs DNSs, the internal DNS resolve the internal names ,
if failed this mean it is an external name then it forwards it to the
external DNSs to resolve it from the internet

I assume your network is in a private ip range? Then by default your
internal DNS can only resolve names from your internal network. Any
other request should be forwarded to your ISP's DNS server, then this
server makes the resolving and provides the information back.

Dear All,
I need your help in a DNS resolving problem , which can be
summarized
as
follow
we have in our company and DNS server on windows server 2003 that is
working
so good, but I found some strange issue which is there is a web
sites
that I
can resolve it by any given DNS server but I can not resolve it by
my
DNS
can any one tell me WHY a DNS server resolve some web sites and can
not resolve others
