Hello All, I have a problem connecting my two PC's to the internet and a LAN
simultaneously, both PC's have two NICS , the LAN NIC's have static IP
addresses of 192.168.2.100 and 192.168.2.101 respectively, the internet NIC's
have IP's assigned using the DHCP server of an ADSL modem these are in the
192.168.1. range, I have the dns addresses and gateways of the internet NIC's
set to the IP address of the ADSL router, the problem is when the PC's are
connected to the LAN (which is all the time ) the internet is unavailable, as
soon as I disable the LAN NIC the internet works perfectly, what am I doing
wrong ? both PC's are XP pro SP2 connected to a Windows 2003 server
If you've specified a GW on the LAN NICs, remove it. Running "route print" may
help troubleshoot this further.
