You firstly want to know a bit about subnetting, though im sure your network
uses a classful mask.
Secondly, you want to load up the "routing and remote access" admin tool
Under routing protocols, select "nat/basic firewall" - i dont know your
network topology, so you must select the particular type of filewall - trial
and error is best for you.
But before the trial and error, just add an inbound and outbound list. The
inbound list should be set with a source address of the virtual earth
server, so you want to assign it a /32 subnet mask. In source port, you want
to include the port virtual earth communicates on. In protocol, select
whichever transport protocol is used. To find out the source port and
transport protocol, go get a packet capture util such as windump. For the
destination network, you want to specify your RFC 1918 NATed address pool,
which i assume has a /8 /12 or /24 network mask. If tcp is the transport
protocol make sure for the inbound list uses an established tcp.
On the outbound list, you will want to specify the the source network as
your RFC 1918 addresses
the destination as the virtual earth server with a /32
and the destination port as virtual earth servers listening port. You dont
have to specify this as established if TCP is the layer 4 protocol used
here.
Lastly, i ask that you go apply at Burger King; they're looking for some
Leos. WRAAAWR.

i have a client that is started to use Virtual Earth, they are not able to
view the maps in 3D.
when you zoom in the page never redraws
all works ok in 2d and with 45 degree view
the client has had a meeting with a man from microsoft regardig buying
licensing, and he advised assing the IP range into the firewall
how can this be done?
