Hi,
I have a Windows 2003 SP1 Standard edition server.
I need to have the Telnet service running on it.
I went into the Services applet to change the service to Automatic and
start
it but realized the Telnet service was not present at all.
- I went into Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> Add Windows
Components --> browsed through all options and sub-options but couldn't
find
the Telnet service.
- I restarted the server - Telnet still not showing
- Did some research on the Web - didn't find much about this issue.
Is the Telnet service part of the core OS install?
Why am I not able to see it in the services applet?
Thanks.
Sorin
