need to drag and drop files between computers they always go slow.

If I do FTP, HTTP, SSH, and other transfers on the Internet I can
saturate the Internet connection. When I use to run an FTP server on
the LAN I was able to reach 100% through put. Why can't I without the
FTP server. I want to avoid the FTP server on the LAN as I'd like to
just stick with my mapped drives.

Try disabling SMB signing.

Thank you for the links. I will have to read them and see what I can come up with. I am totally blanking right now on what SMB signing is? I want to say it's an authentication or other security/encryption based off the name. If that is the case I was wondering the ramifications.
