It would cause all sorts of problems if it did. Numbers with leading
zeros are interpreted as octal, not decimal. So 192.168.011.021 is
equivalent to 192.168.9.17

Is there a way to make windows keep the leading zero's in an ip address?
Ex. 192.168.001.001 not 192.168.1.1
