Re: home directories

In news:7C9F4ADD-0AF6-44B5-A65E-5A0D72CBC125@xxxxxxxxxxxxx,
roshak31 <Roshak31@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> stated, which I commented on below:
I have a windows 2003 domain controller and about 200 computers on
the domain fifty percent are windows 2000 pro the other half are XP
pro. Each user on the domain has a home directory for H drive.
Sometimes when the user is logging in and they go to their H drive
they will not go to their individual H drive but we'll see all the
other users home folders. What can I do so this will not happen?

Thanks,

What we've done is unshare the default home users folder, but shared each
individual user's folder with a $ to hide it, specified only the user
account and the admin account to full control on the share permissions, then
specified that share as their home folder. I know it's a bit of extra work,
and you can probably script it, but that's one way.

Another way while using the default method is to use Access Based
Enumeration, but I have not used it yet. Read up on it and see if it will
help you, or try the above mehtod.
