I haven't test it, but I think that should work. if you add net use command to a batch file. Please post back with the result.

When computers are on our work network, they'll "talk" to the Domain at least
every 30 days, or more often, and refresh at each logon or reboot.

However, we have many users who take work laptops home, or on travel, using
the Cisco VPN, and...they basically fall off of the Domain and don't refresh,
until the laptop is brought back to the work network. While it IS possible
to logon to the VPN prior to the Windows logon, thus connecting to the
Domain, first, for several reasons we don't use it that way.

Is there a batch or command I can run, after connecting via the VPN, that
will refresh the computer on the Domain through the VPN? I was thinking of
using a batch to run the VPN, then wait 2 minutes and run the command to
refresh.
